Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!
Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

We didn’t see any whales, but we saw two pods of different types of dolphins. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. The crew were fantastic and the guide was very knowledgeable about the different animals we saw. Plus it was fun being out on the ocean. Definitely recommend.

It was a terrific adventure! No whales this time of year, but short nosed dolphins, which are adorable, by the hu deeds! They zoomed along in huge numbers alongside our boat for almost an hour! Fabulous! Our naturalist had a great voice and microphone and told us everything about them! Thank you Viator!

Relaxing ride great views, and seeing dolphins up close, even if you do not get to see a whale. Friendly and knowledgeable crew, would go again
