This was the highlight of my weeklong trip to the Savannah area in April 2021. I was fortunate enough to have Shannon Scott himself as my guide/storyteller and it was epic!! He is so knowledgeable and “flat out” entertaining! Bonaventure Cemetery is simply beautiful and filled with history including love stories, secret societies, family scandals and on and on. You MUST book this tour. You won’t regret it. I’m hoping to come back someday soon to do an after-hours tour.

We learned so much on our Bonaventure Cemetery tour with Shannon. Could have spent a few more hours. Two hours was good for our kids ages 10 and 11. I think this was a great history lesson before we visited the rest of Savannah. Loved learning the stories of Johnnie Mercer. So much detail explained regarding the sculpture of Walz. I looked up many things when I had time. Also watched Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil the night of our tour on Amazon Prime. It was neat to link everything together. Highly recommend!

Wonderful tour. Shannon’s ability to weave personal anecdotes with his historical knowledge kept the tour lively and interesting. I would highly recommend him.
