This was one of the best tours I have ever done and Lisa Presley was OUTSTANDING!!! She loved what she was doing she she knew what she was talking about. The people that saw the cemetery without a tour missed out on so much history and fabulous stories about the cemetery. Would recommend this tour again and again. Savannah is a beautiful city and this cemetery is equally as beautiful

Unless you really love history or graveyards - this type of tour is not exciting. But the guide was very knowledgeable and I do love history and architecture, so the stories behind some of the folks buried there and sculptors of the some of the beautiful headstones and memorial statuary was cool ! Johnny Mercer is buried there and also a couple of the folks from the story Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Of the many Viator bookings I have made in America and Europe -- this was the best. Shannon made this tour educational, enjoyable and personal. I cannot think I have ever met a better host and guide. It was if you were the long lost cousin, and he was giving you the family updates since you were out of town. I could have spent hours with him. We took the day-time tour next time in Savannah we will take the night tour just to see Shannon again. I cannot imagine visiting Savannah without taking this tour.
