Gentry was my tour guide and she was fantastic! She was informative, friendly and a safe driver.
I booked this tour because I didn't want to drive the highest paved road in North America. Sometimes tour guides can drive the mountain roads like it's a normal, flat road to meet scheduling deadlines. But Gentry wasn't like that. She drove safely and the tour was still on schedule. It even rained and hailed on the drive to the top! She also was able to drive safely and be on the lookout for wildlife to point out to us, an unimaginable feat (especially towards the top) that she pulled off fantastically.
She was also very informative of the history, wildlife and biomes at each stop and along the way. It was cool to see how the wildlife, plants and trees changed as we moved upwards. On the way back to Denver, she gave us an insider's recommendations for restaurants to try and things to do!
I also appreciated that she kept a lookout for everyone's safety. Going up the mountains, people can experience altitude sickness and she gave us tips to prepare (drink lots of water on the way) and told us what to do if we experience it. There was some rain and thunder and she was always on the lookout for when we should head to the car in case lightning strikes. She also is aware of all the good bathrooms on the tour and will let everyone know about the options we have.
I recommend her and this tour to anyone wanting to visit Mount Blue Sky.
