My husband always wanted to sail on a Schooner-so we fulfilled his wish! It was really nice. Our sail only had 15 people on the trip, so lots of room to move about and lounge. However, being during the day-it was hotter than an evening sail. We saw the schooner take off the night before for an evening sail and it was pretty full. Captain and crew are friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a "premium" drink and didn't realize there was a charge for it as I thought all drinks were included. So a bit of a surprise at the end-guess I should have read the menu a bit better.

It was wonderful to be out on the water on a lovely ship with a friendly crew. Truly relaxing and we learned a bit more about the area too. Recommend!

I was a great sail on an authentic Schooner. It was not the first time we've been on the Schooner Appledore and it won't be the last.
