We will provide the best hassle-free service on the river, No having to car top a bulky rental kayak and hunt for parking at the State Park. All you have to do is show up at our exclusive location and it's fun time! Our guides will setup all your equipment and will stay with you every step of the way. Adventure seekers should be comfortable in the water and should expect a 4-mile round trip paddle and a moderate 2-mile hike to the waterfall.

Footwear that secures or straps to your feet are required (for safety crocs or flip flops are not allowed).

I have never Kayak before, it was a very hard learning curve and was “taught” super fast. I was so stressed out the whole time because the crash course was not well explained. The secrete falls were not so secret there were group after group. Not a lot of peace. The hike is not easy but well worth it. The 15%-20% gratuity they suggest is absolutely ridiculous the tour for two people is already really expensive with no food or drink provided. I would say over all it was beautiful but not for beginners.

Aloha! Thank you for posting this valuable review as it helps prepare all adventure seekers to understand the rigorous nature of this tour. This is not your typical walk in a park tour. It really takes some physical effort to propel yourself thru the water and to hike the moderate level trail to the falls. Unfortunately, secret falls have become the most popular waterfall destination on Kauai, so yes, the secret is out, and everyone wants to see it. Gratuity is 100% optional, however guests that truly enjoy their experience usually tip their guide. Simply stating the normal helps guests prepare better. Again, tips are totally optional. Mala was exceptional. Clearly very knowledgeable and proud of his Kauian heritage and passes on incredible history of the island and culture. Loved the views and the falls were incredible! Only thing I think should be underscored is hike is closer to 3 miles on length and it is definitively not 80% boardwalk. Quite uneven terrain at times and though there is a disclaimer for those with bad knees and back, it would even be tricky for those just heavier or not agile at times.

This was a great relaxing afternoon. The kayak up and down the river was beautiful and not too strenuous. The hike to the falls was easy. Secret Falls was beautiful with a really nice swimming hole at the bottom. Most people braved the cold to stand under the falls. Our guides Kai and Darren were great. They showed us the trees, flowers and birds along the way. They explained some Hawaiian history during the paddle and hike and pointed out some sites were scenes from movies were filmed. We had a great afternoon
