Take a surfing lesson and enjoy a fun, safe and unforgettable surfing experience! Everything you need to surf is provided in one easy lesson. Each lesson includes a 10-15 minute land lesson on the basics of surfing and ocean safety. The rest of the lesson is spent in the water with your instructor. We are dedicated to providing surfing lessons to each student with a fun, safe and unforgettable surf experience. We adapt our style of teaching to the ability of each student. We will go that extra mile to make your surf experience the most memorable highlight of your vacation!

My 11 and 13 year old kids had a semi-private surfing lesson with Keanu and it was fantastic! Keanu is wonderful with kids, very patient and caring. He is also a lot of fun. The kids had a blast and, even though it was their first surfing lesson ever, they got the hang of it pretty quickly with Keanu's instruction and encouragement. From the practical side, the parking space is rather small but we had no problem finding parking on the sreet. The place provides rushguards and water shoes. The beach area used for surfing lessons is great for this purpose, with water being not too deep and waves not too big.

Maui Wave Riders was fantastic. My 12 year old daughter loved her lesson and was surfing in less than an hour. Thanks to Kazuma for his excellent instruction. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Maui.

Went for semi-private lessons with my 8 year old the other day. Water was perfect, not to deep, and waves were appropriate size for beginners. Our instructor was a lot of fun, and made it an enjoyable experience. Definitely a must do while in Maui! Word of advice, come before 9am, as it gets pretty busy in the water by 10am with all the different people from various lessons.
