Spent the afternoon with my mom and her partner. Purchased our tickets on line which was very easy to do. They have a nice calendar to pick your date and time of day. Once we arrived, parking was very easy and not too far. There is a vending machine to purchase your parking pass. They charge by the hour or by the day. The machine only uses credit cards. Boarding the boat was easy for my mother and her partner to get on. Once we got on the boat there were bench seats to sit under the shade canopy. We boated maybe a mile out before we started to see dolphins. They swim in pods and once we started seeing them, they come right up to the boat swimming and playing around the boat's wake. We unfortunately didn't see any whales. There were snacks, drinks, beers, wine available for purchase on the boat. The restroom was in the back and looked pretty clean. The only one downside of our trip was the captain narrated our trip to educate us about the sea and it's creatures, unfortunately, we were sitting in the back of the boat and couldn't hear a single word he said because the noise of the engines drowned his voice on the speakers. I chose this tour vs the one in downtown San Diego because was it was a lot cheaper and it was 2 hrs vs 3 hours...wasn't sure if I would get sea sick. Thank goodness I didn't.
