Palm Harbor
Common wildlife sightings include predatory fish such as redfish and snook, as well as small houndfish that often swim alongside kayaks. Blue crabs, stone crabs, conch shells, and hermit crabs are also prevalent in the area. Stingrays can sometimes be seen buried in the sand, and schools of mullet fish are known to jump out of the water. Bird enthusiasts may spot herons, egrets, and pelicans hunting or resting among the mangroves.
