This tour departs the Deer Valley airport in Phoenix. It includes spectacular views of the Tonto National Forest, the Verde River, the Red Rock formations of Sedona, the San Francisco Peaks, the Painted Desert and the Navajo Indian Reservation. The flight continues on a scenic over-flight of the Grand Canyon on a route that only a few companies are allowed to fly.

After the overflight, the tour lands at the Grand Canyon airport, located just minutes from the entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park. Your ground tour is provided by a professional tour guide who will take you to scenic overlooks inside the Grand Canyon National Park. Your last stop will be in the Grand Canyon Historic Village where you may visit various lodges and other shops and galleries, all of which are located along the Rim, making it easy to see the Grand Canyon from many different vantage points. Optional box lunch is available for purchase.

Our Grand Canyon Signature Tour - South Rim with Hummer Ground Tour was an absolutely amazing experience, flying over the desert from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon, passing over Sedona, Flagstaff, Mt Humphries (which still had snow on it). Once we landed at the Grand Canyon Airport the tour took us on a Hummer trip around the South Rim of the Canyon. Photos don’t do this vista enough justice. The rock formations, colours, size and sheer magnificence was simply awe inducing. Our guides, both the pilot Nico and the Hummer driver Trey were fantastic; so knowledgeable and interesting and always helpful. We had such a fabulous time. Thanks Westwind for making this an amazing highlight. Your communication, organisation and friendly guides were fantastic.

The whole process start to finish was wonderful. There’s no other way to tour the Grand Canyon. The plane ride was smooth & our pilot, Greg, was friendly and helpful. The land tour segment was fabulous. The hummer (BUCK wild hummer tours) had heated seats, water and blankets. The tour guide (I hate that I forgot his name) took us to wonderful spots at each of the stops and even let us eat lunch at on the rocks. It was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. An experience I’ll never forget.

Great experience all around, can't beat it for doing a half-day tour! Airport was very convenient, pilot was awesome, and really fantastic views from the plane and at the canyon.
