Kayak Weight Capacity - The maximum weight capacity for these tandem ( 2 people ) car kayaks is 410 pounds No single person can weigh more than 225. These kayak will not float you if you exceed the weight limit. We also offer paddle boards and solo (non clear) kayaks for this adventure. If someone in your group does not fit the weight capacity, no worries. We offer an option for non clear solo sit on top kayaks with a weight capacity of 300 pounds and non clear sit on top tandem kayaks with a weight capacity of 500 pounds, and paddle boards 250 pounds.le

The tour was great! Our guide Justin was very funny and friendly. We saw lots of wildlife and had a wonderful time. We even got a moment to take individual photos with our family. Definitely would come again!

I second the other 3 star review in March 2025, very surprised. The tour is with Kayaking Florida and our guide was Justin. Not a friendly tour especially for beginners. Once you launch, you immediately start kayaking with him and need to keep up, he does not frequently look back. There was a family struggling and could have easily been lost, he didn’t count the group number before starting. The family was also struggling because there were no lessons given at the start, this would have sucked for a beginner. The commentary was also at a minimum. Did tours in Cali and New Orleans and they would give lessons before you start, stop from time to time for the group to congregate and give commentary, and point out or actively look for wildlife for us to have the best experience. Not sure if the culture is just different in Florida. He also sent us the wrong group photos at the end Route and wildlife was beautiful, you won’t be disappointed. We went during the second week of March and saw no manatees.

Brian I am very sorry you had a bad time. Justin is our best guide and our manager. Just check all the rest of his reviews and it tells the story. I don’t understand what went on with your tour, however I will ask him. He is professional and as safe with his customers as they get.

We had an AWESOME time! From the minute I booked this excursion, the communication with our tour guide (Justin) was excellent! He sent reminders & was quick to reply to any questions I had! He gave clear directions/instructions on where to go/what we needed to know once getting to Silver Springs State Park! He and his crew took great care of us! They were helpful, kind & very educational! We learned a lot & enjoyed seeing alligators, birds of all kinds, turtles, fish & manatees! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting a relaxing, daytime adventure!
