We recently attended Jay Alexander's Mind Tricks show and were all highly impressed from beginning to end.
A lot of similar shows keep the performer at length, but this was not the case with Jay who interacted with the crowd in the lounge beforehand with some great pre-show tricks (possibly my favourite of the show was here, so it's well worth turning up early and getting a drink/snack).
You are then led into the theater, which is nice and intimate. Due to the smaller crowd it holds, a lot of audience are involved, but there's nothing to embarrass participants. I wouldn't be a fan of being picked out to be involved in similar shows in the past, but in the smaller crowd it
Jay is a thoroughly entertaining performer, showman and everything in between. Between his interaction with guests (in and out of show) and the photo opportunities afterwards, there is a personal touch here you won't find in similar shows.
Days later and I still can't figure out how he did many of the tricks, but would highly recommend the show to anyone looking for a great night!
