When this occurs, we will provide guests with an appropriate alternative if the museum opening time is delayed more than 1h from the tour starting time. In these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts. Appropriate dress is required for entry into some sites on this tour. No large bags or suitcases are allowed inside the museum, only handbags or small thin bag packs are allowed through security. Due to increased security measures at many attractions some lines may form on tours with 'Skip the Line' or 'No Wait' access. Some specific rooms inside the museum are subjected to a very quiet or restricted right to speak inside, in this cases your guide will provide the information about this places before entering the specific rooms where this rule applies. I feel very blessed. I booked the semi-private tour of the national archives and capital building. The tour is for a maximum of 8 people, but nobody else arrived so I was lucky to have the tour all to myself. Richard was my tour guide. I’m not sure how other guides are, but Richard was absolutely amazing. I could tell that Richard really enjoys what he does and the man really knows his history! We started at the National Archives and saw the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Magna Carta, Guginhem Bible, and more. Richard took me to the Capital building and his friend Wayne was was nice to give us tickets to the senate and House of Rep. The tour also included the Library of Congress and Supreme Court and views inside the court room. In between we got lunch at the cafeteria. I really could have just done this tour and been satisfied with my one day visit to D.C. I want to thank Richard for his passion for history, the amount of information he shared with me and the distance of walking he did, the patience he had at rhe gift shops :-) , and for him asking Wayne to give us the generous tour of the Capital Building. I will remember the tour forever.

Our family of four with two teen boys Had a great tour with Terry today ! We were hesitant about booking such a long tour with teens but it’s divided well with National Archives in the morning and then a break for lunch and then the Supreme Court , library of Congress and capitol. Terry was a font of information and answered all the varied questions our family threw at him with genuine interest and pleasure - and not just historical ones - being international visitors we had lots of questions about how historical events are reflected in today’s USA . We would never have gotten to go to and see all those places in the time we had nor could we have ever learnt so much on our own, would have missed out ! Great experience. Tour organisation also very professional.

Jennifer was our tour guide. She was awesome. On a scale of 1 to 10 she was an 11. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is very knowledgeable and personable.
