You must have dinner in the restaurant at the Observatory in the WTC. The Martinis are perfect. AND the food is spectacular. Who has swordfish on the menu these days. They do and it is beautifully presented and prepared. Set on a pool of white bechamel sauce and garnished with kalamata olives baby tomatoes, yellow pepper slivers and unique shaved root vegetables, it is the best I have found in years. David's filet was, in his words, the best filet he ever had and was cooked to perfection for his taste. The service is extraordinary with many of the staff stopping by to chat and welcome you. Then, they hit you with an incredible NY Cheesecake, no surprise, but extra silky and delicious with macerated berries (and plenty of them. But, who has apple strudel on a desert menu? they do and it is amazing. Beautifully presented with a scoop of ice cream and a fan wafer. What perfection. You should not miss this. Go just before sunset and watch the sun set and the lights come up. Magical!
