Our goal is to provide an informative and relaxing experience that will allow for visitors to gain an appreciation for the island we call home, and experience all the natural beauty that Chincoteague and Assateague have to offer. Our small group boat tours allow for us to get close to the abundant wildlife on Assateague island. Our two hour boat tour will get you up close to the famous Assateague ponies, ospreys, eagles, and in many cases dolphin! Come join us on a small personable tour and make a memory with your vacation!

Assateague Island

Assateague Island is the home of the famous Assateague ponies but also contains osprey, bald eagles, blue heron, and many other migratory birds that depend on Assateague as they travel south on their migratory path. We strive to provide our guests with information about the island and its natural flora and fauna. While our main goal is to get up close to the wild ponies, there are many surprises along the way to enrich the experience.

We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful evening with Henry and the Saltwater Pony Tour. From dolphins to shore birds of ponies…we saw it all. The beauty of Chincoteague Island never fails to amaze me, and last night was just magical. Highly recommend Henry and the Saltwater Pony Tour. I would 100% book this again!

We went out with Captain Warren at nine this morning. Came upon lots and lots of dolphins. So cool to watch them and photograph them and Captain Warren stayed in the area so we could get lots of pictures. Proceeded on to find the ponies! Found a small herd of 10 or 12 ponies at the edge of the grasslands so it was perfect! It was a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Captain Warren and Saltwater Pony Tours!

Fantastic tour. I preferred the small group of no more than 6. The guide did everything he could to provide a great experience. Deserve the number 1 rating!
