The 5-star rated small-group Colorado River kayak & Emerald tour is operated less than 1-hour self-drive from the Las Vegas Strip. Departing at 7, 9 & 10 am & 12.30 pm. This 4-mile tour along Black Canyon is suitable for all skill levels/ages and will be at a relaxed pace with no more than 12 people in your group. On your trip, you’ll see caves, stunning scenery and you may even spot big horn sheep or an eagle. We have the most experienced guides on the river that will keep you safe and entertained throughout the trip with historic facts. With stops to rest/swim and we provide snacks. Be sure to bring your camera for memories that will last a lifetime! This company is Veteran owned & operated and only use USA-made Kayaks. We guarantee it will be the best thing that you do whilst in Las Vegas! Note: Tandem kayaks available for small children & disabled Veterans. Please note - the 7am departure requires a minimum of 4 passengers to book **

If you are looking to get away from the strip for the day and enjoy a nice relaxing day on the water you need to get in touch with Brett at veteran kayaks. The wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We originally booked with another company for the same tour but decided we would prefer a smaller group. After seeing the other tours on the water with 15-20 people and how much of a mess it was it confirmed that we made the right decision. Brett stayed right with us the entire time so everyone in the group could hear all the information he was providing. It was not only a filled with beautiful sights but Brett also made it very educational, with Dam facts, nature facts, and wild life facts. Brett took his time with the tour, you could tell he enjoys doing what he does and was in no rush to get out of the water. It was honestly one of the best tours I have ever been on. It didn’t feel like we were tourists, it felt like we were spending the day with a group of friends.

Highly enjoyed my time out on the water. Brett is equally knowledgeable and energetic about the scenery. And witty! The tour was peaceful and did not feel rushed. I’d choose VeteranKayaks again as a facilitator for an adventurous day!
