The 5-star rated small-group Colorado River kayak & Emerald tour is operated less than 1-hour self-drive from the Las Vegas Strip. Departing at 7, 9 & 10 am & 12.30 pm. This 4-mile tour along Black Canyon is suitable for all skill levels/ages and will be at a relaxed pace with no more than 12 people in your group. On your trip, you’ll see caves, stunning scenery and you may even spot big horn sheep or an eagle. We have the most experienced guides on the river that will keep you safe and entertained throughout the trip with historic facts. With stops to rest/swim and we provide snacks. Be sure to bring your camera for memories that will last a lifetime! This company is Veteran owned & operated and only use USA-made Kayaks. We guarantee it will be the best thing that you do whilst in Las Vegas! Note: Tandem kayaks available for small children & disabled Veterans. Please note - the 7am departure requires a minimum of 4 passengers to book **

The best kayaking tour I have ever done. Griff was great and very knowledgeable. Easy paddling and beautiful scenery. If you’re undecided about this tour, just book it you will not be disappointed!

Our tour was great !!! We winded up being late cause we got lost, but he got us in our boats and made it worth it. Great views and guide was very helpful and good conversations.

Veteran kayaking were excellent and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Brett’s instructions on where to be and equipment to bring with us was very clear, including directions to the marina. Griff our guide was brilliant and his relaxed informative style gave us plenty of time to take in the beauty of the river and surrounding countryside. His knowledge of the history of the river, cave and the people who lived and worked in the area was great. He also spotted many local species of animals and birds…including a rare sighting of a rattle snake! We fully recommend Veteran Kayaking to all who are looking for a great time on the river. A very enjoyable trip which was enhanced even more due to Veteran Kayaking only taking small groups of people on their tours making it a very personal experience. Thank you for a fantastic time!
