SUMMARY. Our group of 13 (ages 15-50) spent the day visiting the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon skywalk & Guano Point with Darryl & Kevin. They were incredible hosts/guides and both are very personable and knowledgable about the sites we visited. The trip was very well organized but we didn't feel rushed at any point so it was a nice, laid back day with incredible sites. Prior to arrival in Las Vegas we provided our sandwich orders to Darryl and he had everything we ordered ready for us at lunch time. Transportation was provided in two vans (Ford Transit + Chevy Express). They aren't luxurious but are comfortable and a much better option than being in a tour bus with 30+ other people. Plus they're able to pull right up to the skywalk when all other tour vehicles have to stop at a depot about 5 minutes away and board another vehicle to go up to the skywalk. All in all, a great trip with great guides. Highly recommended, look no further.
TRIP DETAILS. We began the day at the Las Vegas sign for pictures then we headed over to McDonald's for breakfast (included). Our next stop was the Hoover Dam which is an incredible engineering feat from the 1930's. Darryl and Kevin were chock full of information about the dam's history which made it even more enjoyable. We then set out for the GC Skywalk (included) which had great views outward and downwards through the transparent floor. Lunch came next (included) with sandwiches (from Arby's and surprisingly good), grapes, cheese & crackers. Last up was Guano Point which was the highlight of the trip - incredible views with a fairly easy GUIDED hike plus great picture spots (Darryl & Kevin pointed out the best spots for us). After spending quite a bit of time at Guano Point we decided to head back to Las Vegas and arrived at our hotel by ~5.30pm.
In summary, a great day full of lasting memories.
