See the incredible wildlife on the Intracoastal Waterway including Dolphins, Manatees, Pelicans, Cormorants, Eagles, etc.
We operate the only sailing catamaran available for "public" and "private" sailing/sightseeing excursions in the Daytona Beach area. Our Seawind 1000 is a beautifully designed Austrailian built catamaran with comfortable shaded seating in our saloon area, seats that literally hang out "over the water" on the aft deck, and comfortable seating in the open air on our forward deck along with "trampolines" that are just above the water for sunbathing with an occasional splash to cool down. Restroom facilities are also onboard for your convenience!

Not sure what the norm is, but we didn't come close to seeing dolphins or any other animals. The boat was nice, but our kids were really hoping to see dolphins or manatees or something. A bit disappointing since that was such a strong advertising draw. It seemed like they knew we weren't going to see any before we even left.

Due to the weather we did not see very much marine life but it was very nice having the boat to ourselves and getting out on the river! Thanks Cpt. Randy! Hopefully next time we will have better weather.

I want to start by saying the catamaran operators were very nice and friendly but...this was just ok, in my opinion, especially for the price. Admittedly, I didn't pay attention to the fact that this cruise *stays* on a river at the time of booking. When it said "dolphin and manatee watch", I assumed we'd get to the ocean at some point (for the dolphins), however, we did not. We departed from a marina on the river, went 45 minutes down river and turned around and went right back. While I also know that seeing marine life can never be guaranteed, the only animal life we saw was seagulls. The description also states that there would be an opportunity to jump off into the water which also didn't happen. To be fair, it was overcast and the water was VERY brown so it wasn't very inviting to do so but again, the way the description was written, I just expected different.
