This is the third wine tour my wife and I have been on through Viator, and all of them are great. This one might rank at the top (the others were in Tuscany and Champagne), just due to the fact that it is pretty difficult to find these wines in stores (if at all), and the actual quality of the wines were fantastic. I have been living in LA for the past 18 months, and have been to Santa Barbara a couple of times. The wines are just OK, and everyone focuses on the Pinot Noirs. This tour took us through the whole gamut of Santa Barbara County, from the west end Pinots, the Granache and Syrah's of mid-Valley, and the heavy Cabs on the far east end in Happy Canyon. The driver was great (Scott), and there was snacks of some kind at every stop (cheese, crackers, olives, nuts at one stop, and chocolates at another, with lunch in between). Getting to talk to the wine makers, owners, and workers at such exclusive wineries (no true "tasting rooms') was great. My roommate from college went with us, and they also thought the tour was top notch, even though it was the 3rd time he had been to SBC for wine tasting. I can't say enough good things about Sustainable Wine Tours.
