For our first morning in Tampa we took the Small Group City Bus Tour to orient ourselves to the city. We couldn't be more pleased. Our tour guide/owner was knowledgeable, personable and answered all of our dumb questions with grace and charm. We saw the Riverwalk, Ybor City, the Port, a cigar rolling store, the famous Tampa mural, Heights Public Market, The Jackson Rooming House and all points in-between. He explained the histories and back stories of the statues, buildings, murals, hotels, bridges, causeways, and more. If you park at the hotel, you get a discount at the restaurant which we used for breakfast. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this sightseeing bus tour with Jamal! He was exceptional and very knowledgeable about the history of Tampa! Took us all around the city including Ybour City (cigar capital of the world)! Lots of history and good restaurants here! He made many recommendations of places to see and restaurants to eat along the way. He was gracious to take pictures at our stops including the infamous Tampa mural! I will take Jamal’s tours when I return to Tampa!
