Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

The sights were spectacular. Although we weren't able to see the sequoias due to snowfall, our tour guide ensured we had a positive experience.

This trip was spectacular - only way to describe it was awe inspiring. The park itself is amazing and visiting the Sequoias was just incredible. If you want to have a great day and have the time, I would highly recommend this trip.

This is a long day tour as the trip to Yosemite takes 4 hours each way. Our driver/guide Calder was fantastic and gave plenty of information as well as allowing us time to relax during the drive. There was a good break en route (each way) to enable us to get food and use the bathroom - I highly recommend the Sourdough Bakery just around the corner from the Safeway! Calder explained to us early on that we unfortunately wouldn't be able to do the hike to see the Sequoias because it's unsafe unless you have snow shoes at present, so we had no unpleasant surprises later in the day. The scenery at the park was breathtaking, and we stopped several times for photo opportunities. (On one occasion even in spite of the extra traffic due to people trying to get photos of the firefall) We were given extra free time at the village to explore the Yosemite falls and the buildings in leui of doing the hike. This worked out well as for me we had just the right amount of time there. On the drive back we were shown some films on the climbers at the park. A thoroughly enjoyable experience thanks to Calder.
