This city has a rich tradition of honoring veterans and the War Memorials serves as the anchor for that here in Indianapolis.

Indiana State Capitol

Government powers much of Indianapolis, and all three branches of the Indiana government still operate out of this building.

Indianapolis Cultural Trail

We're only making a pit stop on the Cultural Trail, but come back and walk it to visit the museums and sites of the city - from the NCAA, world-famous Children's Museum, and zoo.

We purchased this self tour and didn’t get to finish it due to weather. Some things can be improved like adding audio to this scavenger hunt would be better for this experience.

The tour took us to places of great interest with very interesting historical facts. Questions to answer before revealing the next point of interest is a definite plus!! We returned to other places around the points of interest in the tour took us to further explore. All in all a great value.

Great value, convenient, a wealth of information, and good directions between sites. We went to the top of the soldiers and sailors monument (It’s free!) and had a great view. We encountered a local on the steps of the WWI monument who told us how much he loves Indy and about the magnificent library. We weren’t able to make it to all the sites but hope to in the next couple days before we leave town.
