Such a unique way to see Alaska! Our guide, Peter, was great and helped us along the way. We had never snorkeled in wet suits before and were surprisingly comfortable despite the 50 degree water temp. There was so many starfish and other sea creatures.

My husband thought I was crazy for booking a snorkeling excursion in Alaska. I almost cancelled but we are both glad I didn't. This was an amazing experience! I didn't realize starfish had such a variety of colors! We saw dozens that were orange, purple and grey! We also saw many jellyfish about the size of your palm. I would have loved to have seen the octopus our guide said was present just a couple of days before but we didn't get that opportunity. Absolutely stunning! The water was cold but after just a few moments, we adjusted well with the 7 ml suits. Juan took great care of us and I would definitely go again! Thank you Juan & Selkie Snorkels Sitka!

Sheridan and Hannah were our guides. They were both very detailed in their explanations of how to best get suited up and what we could expect from the trip and water conditions. Hannah was extremely knowledgeable about the different sea creatures we encountered and was able to answer every question that was asked. One lady in our group ended up getting scared and Sheridan made sure to stay with her and comfort her the entire time and they ended up having to make their way back to shore quicker than the rest of us.
