If you are new to or have never snorkeled before this is the ideal choice! Particularly good for families with younger children or swimmers who aren’t certain if they are “seaworthy” enough for one of our longer trips.

This trip is much slower-paced and affords guests time to become more familiar and comfortable with the exciting and beautiful sport of snorkeling. Our crew will be happy to help you adjust your mask, fins, and snorkel and help you become comfortable viewing the tropical fish while using a flotation assistance device we call a “noodle”. You'll even watch for dolphins and whales along the way!

We offer several different times slots to fit your schedule. The times shown indicate the check in time. Tour duration includes time to checkin and receive gear. Snorkel participants must be confortable swimming.

Our vessels are RHIBS (zodiac style boats; seating is on a pontoon).
Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times
We have full discretion to refuse service to guests based on attire, behavior, physical fitness & condition

The rubber inflatable boat we were on was not safe to carry 15 people in rough waters. We were all hanging on a rope so we would not fall out of the boat. My sister and brother in law Almost fell off and my sister was yelling at the captain to slow down so they could get situated, but he would not slow down or stop. The crew did not care one bit if anyone was uncomfortable or felt unsafe as we had all signed the most horrendous waivers so there was no way we could make them accountable if any of us were injured. Do not go on this trip. It is horribly unsafe and although they say the vessel is coast guard approved I highly doubt that it is. In fact, they need to be reported to the Coast Guard. Please choose another excursion to this beautiful snorkel site.

This was a great tour. The snorkeling was awesome; it was in a great bay, lots of fun fish to see. Captain Rob was great also. He took us slowly back after snorkeling, and taught us the history of Captain Cook, taught us about the volcanos, showed us lava tubes, Madam Pele in the lava on the shoreline that Moana was modeled after; and a local jumping spot. we loved the smaller boat experience as well.

Captain Dan was fantastic! The snorkeling adventure was incredible. We felt like we were swimming in an aquarium. Our captain took super good care of us and made sure everyone was safe and feeling good the entire trip! He also told us interesting stories and Hawaiian legends!
