Disappointing Museum overall. The architecture, including the spirals and the natural light (designed by Frank Lloyd Wright) is beautiful. However, the actual art is another story.
Almost the entire museum was dedicated to Kandinsky (nice, but got repetitive), Etel Adnan (looked like work a kindergartner could make) and Gilian Waring. Waring's work was OK, but again not worthy of so many exhibits.
On the 1st floor are the more impressive artworks by the European artists (Manet, Monet, Picasso, etc.) are located, but there are just a few of these.
The whole museum can be seen in 1.5 hours. However, if you have a half day in NYC to see a museum, would skip this one and head to the Met.
