This excursion is designed for people who have never tried diving to get a feel for it. It consists of an in depth theory lesson, the practice of some shallow water skills, and then an open water dive. No prior dive experience is necessary. If you do enjoy it as much as we hope you will, you can use your dive and your skills towards the PADI Open Water certification. You must complete a medical questionnaire (we will provide) prior to your excursion and have the ability to swim. Previous experience snorkeling is recommended.

We booked a dive with Michael and Jenny for last week. We had a group of 6. I was the only certified diver. Two had done the "discover scuba" dive before. Three had never done a scuba dive. We had two great dives :). Michael and Jenny were wonderful! On the initial "skills training", my nephew started to freak out . Michael patiently worked with him to complete the skills, and he successfully completed the entire dive which lasted 49 minutes. All of the newbies did great, and 5 of us wanted to do a second dive, which also lasted 49 minutes. All tanks were filled to 3000 psi, and all of the equipment fit and worked great. We did two shore dives, 5 graves, and 5 caves, which are just south of Wailea. We saw a white-tipped reef shark, alot of sea turtles, and a nice variety of sea life. Michael took a camera, and alot of pics for us to remember the dive. We are all very happy with the experience, and I would recommend NeverDry Divers highly! Thank you Michael and Jenny :)

My husband and I had a great time scuba diving with Michael in Maui. This was our second time scuba diving but Michael provided a good refresher lesson in the beginning and prepped us well with his knowledge of marine life and safety tips. We saw a white tip reef shark, swam with turtles and many beautiful fish. He provided pictures he took underwater, free of charge, which was a great bonus. We loved our trip and would definitely dive with Michael again if we ever come back to Maui!

My husband and I scuba dived for the first time yesterday. I was terrible at it but Michael was very patient and made sure we had an excellent time. The whole experience was fantastic and if we ever come back, we'd definitely select this tour again.
