This excursion is designed for people who have never tried diving to get a feel for it. It consists of an in depth theory lesson, the practice of some shallow water skills, and then an open water dive. No prior dive experience is necessary. If you do enjoy it as much as we hope you will, you can use your dive and your skills towards the PADI Open Water certification. You must complete a medical questionnaire (we will provide) prior to your excursion and have the ability to swim. Previous experience snorkeling is recommended.

Great introduction to SCUBA. Calm waters with a sandy beach to start with a close reef to see all kinds of fish and turtles. Mike was a great instructor, highly recommend!

From beginning to end, it was one of the most fun and amazing experiences I've had! Since the moment I booked it, Jennie was fantastic with her communication and my million questions about the different types of dives we could potentially do. There was an initial cancellation when we were there because of a storm, but they were very flexible with rescheduling us for another day, and always kept us in the loop. When the day came, my partner and I were slightly nervous because it was our first time doing it, but Mike was super nice and knowledgeable! He was patient and explained everything, super encouraging, and took great photos! It was just my partner and I, so we got to do it at our own pace. Saw tiny colourful fish, turtles, and a mini cave! In the end, we were super pumped, and motivated us to want to get PADI certified. Do it!

Our family of 4 had a blast! We have done a number of intro dives before and this one was by far the BEST. Our kids are adults and we have all done some diving before but it had been a long time. NeverDry Divers Maui was easy to get a hold of pre-dive and was extremely organized. The instructions were clear where to meet and what to bring. Michael was professional, and as a mom I appreciated that he was safety conscious while still making the experience fun. We swam with many turtles and saw so many fish. We also entered two different caverns which was a highlight (very easy to swim in and out as a newbie diver). We all appreciated the full wet suits and for the first time we were warm throughout the entire dive. We loved it so much, we opted to do a second dive after the first. We highly recommend this company!
