Our family (couple plus three kids 9,9,7) gained so much from this tour. David, the exclusive guide, shares his family's private historical oasis with you through storytelling and conversation as well as traditional tour facts and information. The life and times of the Tocobago people, with the opportunity to stand on a shell mound and handle shell tools and pottery from the mound, the fascinating journey of Pánfilo de Narváez, the stewardship of David's family property with it's historic brick driveway and ostentation of peacocks as well as the early development of the area with the mystery of Treasure Island, John's Pass and more. After walking the property and taking story breaks at various spots, standing and sitting, we also had time to look at artifacts and books inside where a $1 donation allowed for a can of soda or water bottle.
Thank you!
