I only found out about this tour accidentally, not being that local. The host is the son and grandson of the family that bought and preserved this beautiful site. The land contains one of the last remaining Native American mounds in the area, many resident peafowl, and a wide variety of plants. We got caught in traffic from an accident on the Skyway bridge, but the host waited for us, thankfully. He was very knowledgeable about Native American and colonist history of the area, and offered books for sale later in the gift shop. The site is right on the water of the bay overlooking Treasure Island, a lovely location. I bought a beautiful wall hanging and homemade starfruit preserves from the tree on the property. A hidden treasure. Thumbs up from both my husband and myself.
