We just returned home from our vacation and Speedboat Adventures was our last adventure during the week.
I cannot express enough how incredibly AMAZING this event was for my husband and I.
When I inadvertently missed our first scheduled time, the guys quickly accommodated us for the final run of the day and thank goodness they did. My husband and I almost thought we were not going to be able to make it period.
The safety briefing was detailed, informative, and with a bit of humor.
Once we had the all clear to go full throttle I have never seen my husband (nor myself) smile and laugh so hard. We went fast, we hit lots of air and it was fantastic.
Scott gave us briefings of the site around us and kept an eye onus and boat 2 the entire time.
When it was my turn to steer we were going to head towards the bridge when a big bolt of lightning came down, Scott quickly said nope and sent us in another direction, his motto was definitely SAFETY FIRST.
As we turned and started full throttle again ( I have NEVER been behind wheel of a boat) a shark came right to and under our boat. My husband captured my reaction on video and if he would have panned a little further forward would have caught the shark on GoPro, DANG IT!!!
Due to the quickly approaching storm the Coast Guard shut down the waterways and once again Scott quickly got us in safely and while in the way in Dolphins were jumping in front if us.
I can guarantee we will do this again when we return next year with our entire family, it was too much fun to ever pass up.
The ONE bad review on here must be from a disgruntled person who was mad at someone for forcing them to try and have fun. There is no way possible for you to not have fun. That review reminds me of the old man from the movie Up who constantly says "stay off my grass"
