Flew with California Dreamin 20+ years ago (several times since too) in the San Diego area and was my first choice to take my daughter on something she would remember for the rest of her life... to celebrate her graduating from college. All the people so nice, from Dave the owner to his son Dylan (pilot) and the rest of the gang. Makes you feel like family. Be prepared for something amazing! Gets me how quiet it is, hundreds of ft in the air and you can perfectly hear people talking on the ground. Bring a hat, as the heat from the burners overhead can be a tad warm, especially if you are follicly challenged (balding). Dave is "The Goat" as far as I'm concerned in ballooning. Plus he makes a great bottle of wine! If timing permits and you like wine, head to his winery "Vindemia". Ask him to join you for a glass and you may end up there for hours listening to his wide ranging experiences. Very interesting guy!
