Our most popular tour! Watch a legendary Kona sunset from our spacious 50’ catamaran as you sail the Kona coast, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa included.

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times
Guests are asked to check-in at our KONASTYLE retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75 5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.
PLEASE NOTE that trip start times VARY throughout the year to accommodate for the time changes of the setting sun.
PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers. If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

Absolutely great experience with Kona Style. The captain and crew were attentive, accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They all ensured we were having a good time and were comfortable. The catamaran is very nice, comfortable, and fun! Getting in and out of the boat was made super easy with the long, wide steps. They had a great set up, and we were able to see several mantas. Highly, highly recommend them! If I ever come back to the big island, I’ll definitely be going out with them again!

I highly recommend this tour. It was the best experience. The staff were very helpful and friendly and provided excellent instruction to enhance your experience. The manta rays were truly beautiful. It was a thrilling and rewarding experience. Definitely the highlight of my trip in Kona.

Arrived to pier in Kailua-Kona and the staff & captain were already preparing for the trip. The check-in process was orderly and smooth. Once on board the staff was attentive and extremely helpful in explaining what to expect, getting the proper gear for us and even giving a proper snorkeling review. The staff not only helped us humans, they explained the importance of how we should behave when in the water with the Manta Rays. Yes, we did see many rays and the beauty of these awesome creatures was revealed to us. What any extraordinary experience! The overall experience was excellent.
