I'll just cut to the chase, I would highly recommend a Gansett Sunset Cruise. Now that I've dispensed with the obvious, let me explain why. The staff was friendly and professional, the tour host was funny. There were some obviously corny jokes, but overall, he was very entertaining, he interacted with the audience, and he didn't take himself too seriously. There was so much information about the boats and yachts we passed that I couldn't take it all in, but it wasn't overwhelming. We were offered a hot snack, (it was like a crab cake in a shell) and a champagne toast to toast the sunset. Other beverages were for sale on the cruise.
Helpful Hint: If you want to take pictures on the sunset cruise, I would highly recommend you sit on the starboard side (right side if you're at the front of the boat, left side if you're facing the captain's back).
