We traveled to Newport with friends who had never been there. I booked the Gansett cruise based on reviews, and they were right on. The historical narration was personable , informative and fun. The stuffed quahog was actually something that I didn't look forward to tasting, because I'm not a big fan of clams. But it was delicious. And the champagne was great as well. Our only disappointment was that Mother Nature didn't cooperate and give us a spectacular sunset. As we ended our tour, the fog began to roll in, but it added a bit of reality to the ghost stories we heard on the cruise. The crew was polite and professional, and Captain Jack was excellent in guiding us over the swells and provided a very smooth ride. I would take this cruise again, and would our friends.
