We began the day in a slight drizzle in San Antonio; on the way to the first winery it began to rain. We had just made our way into the winery and it started pouring, with thunder, lightning and wind. Driving to the second winery we met a driver coming the opposite way who warned us not to go further due to the river ahead being dangerous so we diverted to another winery. When we finished there the rain and wind were over, and by the time we got to Fredericksburg the sky was blue and the sun was shining! It's just a short stop in Fredericksburg, but it's a small downtown, so we were able to visit as many of the shops as we wished. Others on the group had time for a leisurely lunch, and then we made our way back to San Antonio. Everyone along the way was friendly and informative, from Brandy at the office, Matt as driver and guide, and the delightful folks at both wineries, making us feel welcome. I do have one suggestion - we were seated in the third row of seats and I could not hear one thing Matt said in the van. The only thing I would have liked to have done differently is sit close to the front of the van. We were seated toward the back and since Matt doesn't use a microphone I couldn't hear one thing he said while we were on the road. The length of the tour is perfect - not early enough that you have to rush to get there, and you get back early enough to have the entire evening free.

Thank you again for taking a tour with us, and we're glad you had a nice afternoon given the rainy conditions. We definitely appreciate the feedback, and we'll definitely be using a microphone in the future.
Cheers!
