This was the most disappointing balloon ride ever. The so-called captain was very unpleasant, disrespectful, and rude.
Capt. Michael on the Kermit green ballon (so called most expensive balloon) Whatever! gave us a short 30 min ride when we all paid hundreds for a 1 hour ride. He did not take the balloon higher than a few hundred feet when all the other balloons went 3x higher. He was full of excuses that made no sense. He also wanted us to share water bottles and said he was going to reuse the disposable champagne cups. When he saw our disgust he said just kidding. He treated the paying customers as if they we part
of his little boot camp, and we did not pay for this performance. There were 8 people on this too short flight. We all paid extra for this semi-private basket flight and were treated like an obligation to babysit the neighbors children. Magical adventures / hotairfun.com should train their employees on Customer service, and good manners. My two friends came from new Jersey and Michigan for a weekend excursion and were disappointed with the waste of time and money with this balloon ride experience. We expected better, my husband brought me here years ago and it was a fond memory that i wanted to share. I would like to go again with a different Captain, but that wont make it up for my friends.
I will be posting other reviews, as will the other 7 riders that were dismayed by the performance of this captain and all his BS excuses on why he would not take the balloon up or the 30 mins. ride. In conclusion I don’t think capt. Michael is qualified to deal with customers and to pilot a balloon. I would not allow him to pass out balloons at a child’s party.

Thank you for your review. Your flight did not live up to our standards on several fronts. We've already issued a refund as requested. We hired a very experienced pilot to help out with the Holiday weekend rush and were surprised and disappointed with his demeanor. We are addressing the matter internally. I hope you will come back in the future so we can improve your impression of us.
