I was really hoping this would have been a better experience, but the day started so poorly. I got a confirmation text from the owner and the lady that was supposed to pick us up the day before. Everything was set. They were 45 minutes late to pick us up at our hotel (as confirmed and arranged), and the owner (once i FINALLY got him on the phone), was so incredibly rude, nearly yelling at me and told me "well which way would you like me to turn the world for you?" I have never been spoken too like that, all I was looking for was an acknowledgement of the issue. Sometime later, after trying to get ahold of someone to come get us, someone ended up coming to get us and it was the housekeeper, with a child in the front seat. She explained that she wasn't even supposed to get us. Then we get a call from the lady that was supposed to get us, who told us simply that she fell asleep, and offered no apologies. When we got to the property, nothing was ready-the lunches we pre-picked out weeks ago weren't, the water bottles, nothing. They did give us a cheese tray which we enjoyed, and a bag of chocolates with several discarded wrappers inside. The bikes were fine and we tried to make the best of it. I texted the owner the day after asking if there was anything he could do given our awful, unorganized experience. He said no and said his staff was "incompetent."
