It was so refreshing to get to go on a tour with someone who is a real insider and knows the history of this part of San Diego. Kristen was so caring and professional the whole time, going way above and beyond anything even remotely required to make sure everyone had an absolutely fantastic time. She was one of the most authentic, down-to-earth, and real individuals I've ever met in my life. The entire experience was so unique and individualized for our group, with so many wonderful and fascinating stories being told by Kristen while we rode along. Even for someone born and raised in SoCal like myself, it is quite an experience! All the historical details that Kristen had about the area were mind-boggling as well, so much to take in and absorb. Regardless if you're from another country or born and raised right down the freeway like I am, you do NOT want to miss out on this adventure, trust me on this, it is well worth the time and money for any and everybody. I can't wait to tell all my friends and family about her tour and go on the other fun things she has available too. She was kind enough to have snacks and refreshments and seemed to be friends with just about every person we came across in Old Town San Diego. In trying to think of areas for improvement, or some kind of 'constructive criticisms' as they call it, I just feel there simply aren't any at all... She just brings a level of excellence and sincerity to what she does and bends over backwards in every way to make the whole tour so much fun, just so memorable, and just so worthwhile... It's exceptional. Book this tour now, as in 'today', and see what everyone else is enjoying so much in these reviews.

Wow! I can see you took a lot of time to write this incredible review, and I appreciate the love. Kristen is such an incredible guide because she does take the time to get to know each area she guides in, and is genuinely curious about the history of San Diego. She has a deep love for it, and you can tell in the stories she shares and her delivery. Thank you for the kind words. I understand that Viator, a Tripadvisor company, has a zero-tolerance policy on fake reviews.

We are very sorry that we had to cancel the tour you were registered for. We have a minimum guest count requirement of 4 guests for a tour to operate and you were the only guests registered. You were notified in the morning and offered another tour option for the same day. When that option did not work for you, we refunded your full reservation. We also offered you a discount on a future tour should you return to San Diego. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this caused you and hope to see you on one of our tours in the future.

This tour was great! The tacos and margaritas were delicious and our tour guide Kristen was awesome! Don’t be worried if you don’t like tequila, as other drink options are available. Highly recommend this tour!!
