I have done a few other escape games in Jacksonville, like most other people living here. I have some advice: leave your past experiences and expectations at the door.
I have never felt so engaged in an escape experience before. The beautiful storefront aside, the amount of effort put into the design of the escape room itself is incredible. You can feel the dedication through every detail. The smells, the sounds, the touch -- I felt every sense being utilized in an effort to explore the game (except for taste--I would not recommend licking the equipment!!)
I also prefer that your Game Guide is not standing awkwardly in the room with you, but rather monitoring your group by camera and helping unique to your groups' needs. I believe this way of giving clues is much more immersive to the whole experience.
I did Special Ops with my family, friends, and a couple that we did not know. At some point in the 60 minutes, there was a challenge that every one of us excelled at. It was so engaging for everyone involved.
I promise you, with whatever escape game experience you have walking in this place, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait to come back!!!
