The Haygoods is, without a doubt, the best show in Branson, hands down!
My wife and I have been visiting Branson since 1979. We have always been drawn to the various music venues and we have enjoyed so many different shows! However, here in 2024, all the really great, clean, original shows are gone. Lately we have been more drawn Table Rock Lake and Big Cedar Lodge and have steered clear of all the “stuff” along 76 … until this past Summer when we discovered The Haygoods! They truly deliver good, clean, riveting, seamless, energetic, music that we have been missing on our annual trips to Branson. And our grandchildren (ages 5 & 8) were awestruck. They did not want to leave the theater when the show was over. I used the word “seamless” in my description because their transitions between musical pieces is perfection! They have showmanship down to a science. I can’t really describe it, you have to see it for yourself to understand.
One of the more amazing things to watch is how many instruments they all play. And they switch back and forth … seamlessly.
My grandson’s favorite part was the “tap-dancing” portion. Understand … this isn’t your grandmother’s sweet tap-dancing on The Lawrence Welk show of the ‘60s. This is four guys with metal plates screwed into high top work boots and it is nothing like you’ve ever seen before. Very entertaining.
My favorite is probably Catherine playing her harp. Re-read the 2nd sentence in the previous paragraph. Mesmerizing. And again, our grandkids were hooked.
Our family is looking forward to experiencing The Haygoods Christmas Extravaganza. I am really looking forward to it. Just remember. Call for tickets. They sell out. Trust me.
The Haygoods represent entertainment at its finest! I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up in Las Vegas. Seriously.
