The Official Art Deco Gift Shop

Founded in 1976, The Miami Design Preservation League has proudly offered guided walking tours of The Art Deco District for over 40 years. All Proceeds go towards supporting preservation. Visitors are introduced to the history, architecture, and preservation efforts of Miami Beach. Tour ticket includes free admission to the Art Deco Museum and Gift Shop. There are a limited amount of tickets available for each tour, so early bookings are encouraged . Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure for check-in.

...to see South Beach's famous Art Deco buildings in the company of a knowledgeable and personable guide like Mark. We loved it and two hours just flew by. Highlight was actually going into the lobby of a few of the most iconic hotels and seeing the interiors with their original flooring, walls, lighting and other fittings. Even if you don't like architecture, you'll enjoy this explanation of why South Beach is like it is today, and how it nearly didn't get preserved.

Our tour guide, Julie, was knowledgeable and passionate about South Beach and its history. She even cleared traffic for us so we could safely cross the street! I highly recommend this tour with Julie.
