The tour offers locals and visitors alike a chance to visit some of Greenville's well hidden cocktail venues along with other foodie enthusiasts and cocktail lovers. It offers a wide array of appetizers sure to tempt even the most particular palette....all while providing you, the guest, an opportunity to enjoy an evening planned out in complete detail with you in mind. Follow your guide and walk along, enjoy the beautiful Greenville downtown area, hear interesting historical stories about this lovely city, visit unique venues with storied pasts, and eat and drink your way through an abundance of cocktails and appetizers prepared especially for you! This was a great local experience and very much worth it in terms of value. Both the drinks and appetizers were ample, including shrimp and grits, crepes, empanadas, and some version of bacon but not pork belly. Our guide, Faye, had a ton of history to offer and knew a lot about each owner and the restaurant. The last stop—a hidden speakeasy with a passcode and a moving bookcase to enter was a real treat. Superb for our first visit to Greenville.

Faye was an awesome tour guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about Greenville history. The drinks at each restaurant were very good especially the last one at the speakeasy, however that was our least favorite food pairing. The food was also very good and filling so you won’t likely be hungry at the end of the tour. We are very happy we booked this tour.

OK, this was a BLAST ! Foothill Foodies hit a home run with this tour. It was special because of our leader, Faye. She was a fountain of knowledge and was able to impart it with a sense of humor and energy. She had cautioned us that, "Nobody will leave this tour hungry." Well, filled to the gills is more like it ! Each eatery provided us with an alcoholic beverage and a FULL appetizer. Water was available but, why would you do that? The food was delicious ( I particularly enjoyed the crepe and the empanada) and plans to supplement the appetizers after noshing were dashed like the SS Edmund Fitzgerald. There is a particular element of the tour that is beyond cool but I won't ruin the surprise. Annoyed? See if you can DECIPHER THIS CLUE, "IZZY and MOE."
