We left 45 minutes late, after being told to arrive 30 minutes early.
The tour guide was very unhelpful, pointing out things like Costco where "you can buy lots of Mexican things", and ignoring the giant statue of Abraham Lincoln as you drive across the border.
The bus broke down coming back.
Good tour, could have been a little more informative. Not much time for shopping. Took an hr and a half to get back across the border on the way back. Overall glad I went but a little disorganized.
The tour left 1 and a half hours late with little to no communication as to why. The "tour guide" did not introduce herself (I still don't know her name), she also appeared to not be able to answer the simplest of questions about the area/s we visited (often asked the driver for answers and then mumbled something incoherent to the group. All I know about Tijuana is that there is a Pharmacy on almost every corner because medicines are cheap (the guide repeated this at least 30 times, but gave little other information about the area). The group also had to wait another hour and a half for the return bus to arrive after we were told to meet at 5:30PM (it arrived just before 7PM with again no communication as to why it was late and when the bus would arrive). This meant we arrived back in San Diego THREE HOURS after the "advertised" time. 9PM! As we had to drive back to LA we arrived back at our hotel close to midnight. Not happy at all with this tour company and suggest they employ qualified, informed tour guides if they wish to continue.
