The Trails and Ale Tour offers a unique outdoor adventure combining exhilarating trails and the finest craft beer selection for nature-loving enthusiasts. Our tour caters to adventurous individuals seeking to explore the great outdoors and savor the local craft beer scene. Unlike conventional tours, we create an immersive experience that seamlessly blends outdoor exploration and beer appreciation.
The Trails and Ale Tour is an hour-long guided tour along the Totem Loop of Mt. Roberts which includes the observation decks. This tour is about Alaskan Wildlife with the flora and fauna of the mountain and Juneau's history. The end of the tour includes a wooden nickel valued up to $10 for any drink, which can be redeemed in Timberline Bar and Grill or the Tr’Ale House, our Beer Garden. Kids can use their wooden nickel in the Timberline restaurant for non-alcohol drinks.

Stephanie was EXTREMELY knowledgable about the culture of the Tlingit people. She made the tour fun and informative. The views from the viewing platforms were outstanding. Going to the front of the line to ride The Goldbelt Tram was a great bonus. We enjoyed an ale at the top after exploring the lovely trails with great stories related to each totem pole. Gunalcheesh! (Thank You!)
