Although we didn't sign up for the guided tour, we ended up getting all sorts of adjunct info from the director who was on site. Every aspect was REALLY interesting ! The exhibits are set in an almost out of movie set style building, rather incongrous in slap dab the middle of Albuquerque, but there you go. It's perfect to showcase all the beautiful turquoise artefacts. There is everything you need to know in this museum about the gemstone, and plenty more, each exhibit clearly labelled and well lit. It really is a lovely place to spend at least 2 hours and come away elucidated and well-informed.
