The highlight was seeing a number of turtles. The low points: poor equipment, unprofessional crew, and lack of environmental awareness. Our masks kept filling with water, despite adjustments. The snorkel had a leak and was also filling with water. I asked the crew for new gear and was ignored. The "guide" pointed out some minor highlights and then dove down to pick up a sea urchin to show off. He did this a few times. The guides also did not warn swimmers to stay away from the turtles. It was very upsetting to see such a lack of care for the turtles and other sea life. Another crew member kept doing cannon balls in the direct line of the swim area near the ladder, causing a lot of waves and coming a bit close to where we were swimming. It wasn't listed as a booze cruise, but the crew's behavior and poor equipment made it feel like one.
