Your tour takes place along the U St corridor, which is rich with DC flavors & history. Making stops at several local restaurants for tastings, which are plentiful, you'll hear about the evolution of the area, including events, historic venues, architecture, and street art. Over the course of the experience, you'll walk about 1.5 miles, enjoy plenty of food for lunch, and learn about this iconic, off the beaten path neighborhood that has played a significant role in DC and American history.

This was my first food tour, and I loved it. The diversity of food styles, restaurants, and information provided was ideal. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend.

We are from New Zealand and I booked this walking food tour after reading about it on Trip advisor . And we had the best time . Aleena our guide was exceptional . Her knowledge and bright and bubbly personality just made our experience. I am a keen foodie and she answered all my questions and even provided recipes and helpful hints . My husband wasn’t initially enthusiastic about me booking this tour but he loved it and agreed a great way to see more of this beautiful city and be amongst local people . Ask for Aleena , she’s just fantastic.

Really wonderful tour, entertaining and informed tour leader, ample and interesting food for us (unlike what other reviewers noted). Enjoyed the experience and learned a good bit about a neighborhood we've been to, but didn't know all that much about!
