Right, where do I start with this one.
Being British, lets start with the fact that the weather on Friday 13th March might have put a few of the other attendees off (or they could have been superstitious about the date), but thanks to the tour guide, all was covered and she had brought umbrellas.
The doughnuts, or donuts, were amazing. The tough part was being asked to pick my favourite as they all looked and tasted yummy. The great thing was that you were not forced to shovel them down and had enough time in each location to enjoy every single bite.
Finally, the tour guide. Devon, or Devo as I can now call her. Brilliant. No other word for it. She was warm, welcoming, extremely knowledgable on not only the donuts but also the are in which the tour took place, picking out other sites, buildings of interest.
All in all, a fantastic day and something I would highly recommend to anyone visiting NYC.
