Going to the tour I thought it would be just walking from donut shop to donut shop but me and my girlfriend were pleasantly surprised! Our guides Jenny and Missy were out of this world. The tour itself actually was a tour that showed awesome facts and scenery of the Manhattan. We thought the experience wouldn't be as* good since it was 30 degrees outside but by walking and getting immersed in everything I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend this tour anytime to anyone. There was a family, even someone doing it on their own and we all enjoyed it from what I could tell. The tour itself is about 2 miles long and worth every single step. Definitely will do again in the summer time just to space out the donuts in my stomach.

Right, where do I start with this one. Being British, lets start with the fact that the weather on Friday 13th March might have put a few of the other attendees off (or they could have been superstitious about the date), but thanks to the tour guide, all was covered and she had brought umbrellas. The doughnuts, or donuts, were amazing. The tough part was being asked to pick my favourite as they all looked and tasted yummy. The great thing was that you were not forced to shovel them down and had enough time in each location to enjoy every single bite. Finally, the tour guide. Devon, or Devo as I can now call her. Brilliant. No other word for it. She was warm, welcoming, extremely knowledgable on not only the donuts but also the are in which the tour took place, picking out other sites, buildings of interest. All in all, a fantastic day and something I would highly recommend to anyone visiting NYC.

As a native New Yorker, I often do not get the chance to be a tourist in my own city. My boyfriend was in town for his 30th birthday and I thought it would be a fun idea to do something different from the standard birthday dinner and bar scene. He loves Donuts and this event seemed like it would make for an interesting time, and at the least we would discover new donuts spots to frequent. Devo (our tour guide) exceeded our expectations, and made this tour one of our favourite experiences. Devo is amazing. She is funny, witty, knowledgeable, beautiful energy, and just down right a great time. I was two seconds away from asking if she needed a new friend! Each donut place was out of this world good. Walking through Manhattan and actually taking the time to look up and look around (something NY'ers don't do) was refreshing. Devo gave us such great history of the neighborhoods. Devo went above and beyond to acknowledge my boyfriends birthday (which she didn't have to do) and made the tour and experience that much more special and fun for us. This tour does not disappoint. I definitely plan on doing this again. BOOK THIS TOUR!
