Meeting actual Amish people. Being permitted to tour there working farms. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, we learned a great deal related to the Amish people and their way of life.Re

My husband, two grandchildren and I enjoyed our "Unique Amish Immersion in Lancaster" tour with Mike. We had taken a different tour the previous year and were very disappointed in the presentation. Mike knows the area and the people and gave us 3 hours worth of information without it being boring or repetitive. The stops were interesting and gave unique opportunities to meet the Amish owners of the property. At one of the houses I commented on how beautiful her tomatoes were and she gave me a couple to take home! My husband uses a walker and I have knee problems but Mike was extremely patient with our needs getting in and out of the van. He also patiently put up with our grandchildren as they inexplicably fussed over who was going to sit by one window even though there were 8 windows for them to choose from! I highly recommend this tour. When we return, we plan to go with this company for their meal with an Amish family.

The tour guide was awesome and very knowledgeable about the Amish lifestyle. It was great to take a tour with only 2 other people, well worth the extra money.
